Hey lovely friends! Last week I had the honors of reviewing a magnificent design hotel in Brussels! I was very much excited to be invited to the gorgeous hotel The Dominican after hearing many great stories bout this amazing venue. I have stayed there last weekend to test out all the facilities and it did not disappoint… I had a very lovely stay! The hotel in a nutshell: The Dominican Brussels is a beautiful destination in Brussels for all the people that appreciate the finer things in life. People with a big love and appreciation for luxury hotels will have an amazing time here. The Dominican has 150 stylishly decorated rooms, a beautiful private courtyard and a very trendy Lounge bar.
First impressions:
I have stayed in one of the beautiful rooms and the first thing that I noticed is the feeling of peace and serenity when I entered my room. Brussels is an dynamic city, busy and hectic, full of beautiful architecture and buildings and great shopping area’s, but when I head back to a hotel I love to come back to a peaceful place where I can relax and The Dominican really caters to this desire. My room was beautiful, elegant and it had a great sophisticated vibe.
I had a minibar available, a safe to put all my valuable belongings, a flatscreen TV, a kingsize bed with 2 gorg green lamps alongside of it I totally fell in love with. And the bathroom, one word. WOW! I felt like a queen in the bathroom. It had a great luxury vibe to it and I was lucky to get one of the rooms with a bath tub in it. The Domincan provides you with toiletries, amongst those they give you luxury and relaxing bath salt. I have tried the bathsalt out and I loved it! Something special just for you: What I also loved about The Dominican was there exclusive Gym area at the 5th floor that had a boxing room equipped with everything you need to blow of some steam and also the regular work out machines so you can get a good cardio work out. And when you are done with your workout you can relax in the Finnish Sauna and/or the Turkish Steam bath! Feel lush and luxurious: I totally feel in love with this beautiful corner. The turquoise luxurious chairs and the beautiful lamps just create an gorgeous sitting area in the lounge.
When you are back from your day in the town you can have your dinner and drinks in either the Grand Lounge or The Lounge Bar.
The Grand Lounge is located in the heart of the building and is connected to the lovely and private courtyard. What I loved about the Grand Lounge were the colors of the furniture, the decor, the high ceilings and big windows.
The Lounge bar has a trendy and sexy feel to it. It is a great place to come with your lover and enjoy one of the delicious drinks on the menu or have a perfect girls night out. The lounge is designed to attract a style conscious clientele of hotel guests but also the hip and trendy local in-crowd can be found here. Amenities:

Food, I love food! Therefor I always pay a little extra attention to the breakfast facilities and I must say, the breakfast at The Dominican scores an A+! There were several different options, from freshly baked bread and croissants to scrambled eggs and bacon, yoghurt, fresh fruit, super foods like goiji berries and pecan nuts, cereal, a fancy cheese platter, smoked salmon and a million other things. If you love a good breakfast, The Dominican is definitely the right place for you!
Location: The Dominican is quite easy to find. It is a 5 to 7 minute walk from The Central Station of Brussels. It is in the city center, close to a lot of ‘Tourist Hotspots’. Some beautiful visuals:
