Today I would like to share this beautiful place in China Town with you guys called Peter Hoe. It is one of the best kept secrets that China Town in Kuala Lumpur has to offer. China Town can be crowded, hectic, busy with tourists wandering the streets, salesmen trying to drag you in to their stands to show you their latest collections, all kinds of different stands where they sell the newest Marc Jacobs bags, Louis Vuitton wallets and all kind of other fake products. In the midst of all this fakeness and chaos there is this beautiful serene place where it is all about a luxury ambience and high quality products. No fake products here! Everything is real, authentic, unique and of great quality.
When I was living in Kuala Lumpur I would love to come here in my lunch hour. They offer a great menu with top notch salads, pasta’s and other wonderful dishes.
Their desserts are amazing as well and worth trying. But I must warn you, they are so good you will get addicted! I can never stop at just one : )
After you had your lunch you can wander through the boutique and look at all their beautiful and unique products. They offer a variety of textile, homedecor items, bags, gifts and also jewellery.
My fave items at Peter Hoe:
If you are looking for a gift for yourself or a loved one and you want to get something of great quality, this is definitely the place to be. I wish I could buy every item in this place. Just look at the pictures and you will understand what I mean.
With the taxi:
2 Jalan Hang Lekir , Kuala Lumpur
With the public transportation:
Take the LRT to stop Pasar Seni. When you get off the LRT and out of the station and you see the big blue building of “Central Market’ in front of you, go to the left, cross the road where you will see the Maybank ( a big yellow banner with their name, you can not miss it)
Walk street for about 100 meters until you reach a cross road. On your left front side you will see the reggae bar and at the right corner you will have a bookstore. Go right at the bookstore and after about 10 meter you see an entrance of an ordinary looking building. Go inside, go to the second floor of this building and you will find yourself in this little piece of heaven in China Town, a sweet escape from all the hectic things that happen down stairs.
